This poster celebrating the Cuban Revolution, was initially suggested by a collage appearing in a Cuban Government newspaper found by Juan.

I sampled a detail in the image and created an ink drawing of it. I created the dominant image of the Cuban flag and with the first lines of a poem that I had written, and with the text from a political manifesto on cultu, finished the final design.

I produced and on my own screen-printed the poster using photo-stencils, in three colours on the Central School of Art & Design (the Annex) presses.

The overall production was seen in the spirit of collaboration.
