This poser was produced for the the Baghdad International Poster Exhibition 1979. The basic image of the typewriter was found by Juan and we incorporated an image from the 1968 student demonstrations in Paris. The quote was found by Juan. I produced a gouache version which was submitted for the exhibition. For 'political' reasons the work was credited solely to Juan. It was awarded a distinction and printed in a 10000 offset run (and as a postcard) by the Iraqi Cultural Centre in London.
