Wires, conduit, cables, mile upon mile of vast clusters of communication links.
First it was just the hardware, then the software, the firmware, and some other fucking word ending in '-ware'.
Now, what I refer to as the 'unsurprisable generation', is a 'node-in-itself', a network junction through which all stuff travels.
Not for to communicate, mind you, but for to pass through - as like a tunnel, and not even touching the sides.
Human no longer - just a node.
