I was the last one standing, the last of the lecturers' union to fight the anti-union Brunel University. That bothered me at the time. But unions are not there to fight; to represent at best. No great principles there. The lecturers were called 'donkeys' by the Head of Research (no evidence supplied). This image is a reflection of how alienated I felt, how lost. Perhaps, like Donnie Darko, it was all the experience of some 'warp in the fabric of time'. Anyway, the revolutionaries are all redundant. |
